SUMMARY:Annual Chili Cook-Off Competition
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the “District 34\, along with District 8\, Region 9 All-District Chili Cook-Off Competition”! \nThat’s right\, a person – or two or three – from each of the 9 districts of Region 6 will present their best chili as they go head-to-head for a First Place and Runner Up designation to be declared the best chili of them all! \nHow is the winner selected? By your “money votes”! There is no admission fee\, but you will judge with your dollars – so bring cash – and the chili with the most (and second most) votes will be declared the winners. \nChili\, cornbread\, salads\, dessert bars\, and other desserts are on the menu along with water and Dialectic Brewing Co.’s beer and cider. \nHere’s the roster of competitors: \nDistrict 7: Jason Thoms/Kathy Bingeman and Warren Larson\nDistrict 8: Al and Deb Stanek\nDistrict 30: Patrick Hart\nDistrict 31: Kelly Spilman\nDistrict 32: Jane Schreck\nDistrict 33: Signe Snortland\nDistrict 34: Josh and Kourtney Johnson\nDistrict 35: Dale Pittman\nDistrict 47: Bob and Marge Valeu\nThis is a fundraiser to help support the Region 6 Democratic-NPL candidates and their campaign efforts.
