Fedorchak is lying to North Dakotans, Democrats are fighting to lower healthcare costs for American families

FARGO – Congressional Democrats are fighting to prevent your health care premiums from skyrocketing next year. Democrats also want Republicans to cancel the Medicaid cuts that would kick at least 18,000 North Dakotans off their health care coverage.

North Dakota Democratic-NPL Chair Adam Goldwyn said, “North Dakotans are about to see their health care costs skyrocket. Our state’s Republican Insurance Commissioner is begging our delegation to do what Congressional Democrats are asking for and extend the ACA tax credits.

John Hoeven, Kevin Cramer, and Julie Fedorchak have had months to negotiate with Democrats, and they refused. Their only way to save face when North Dakotans see their 2026 premiums go through the roof is to lie to their constituents. Does Fedorchak think that when your grandma goes to the emergency room for a stroke, she should have to present her passport or be refused care? Medicaid funding doesn’t go to individuals; it keeps our hospitals from going broke.

Fedorchak thinks she can just say the words ‘illegal immigrants’ and you’ll forget that your costs have gone up exponentially since she took office, that she’s letting the president send $40 billion to Argentina, or that she’s blocking a vote on the Epstein files. Republicans must negotiate, or voters must cast their ballots for Democrats.”
