In 2024, the Democratic Party will nominate a Presidential Candidate to represent our party on the general election ballot in November. You can help decide who that person will be!

North Dakota is just one of five states where the state does not run the presidential primary election. Each of our counties will conduct the primary election for statewide candidates and local races; but in ND, the political parties run their own presidential primaries.

Almost all of the voting is by mail with limited exceptions for the reservations. There will be no in-person voting, except for residents of the reservations where there will be a polling station in place for one day.
