Can Cramer, Hoeven, and Armstrong Keep their Promise?
(BISMARCK, ND) – With news that the Administration’s Department of Justice will argue that the entire Affordable Care Act is unconstitutional, North Dakotans rightfully have a lot of questions if the ACA is overturned by the courts:

What will happen to the 20,000 North Dakotans who will lose the health insurance they have through Medicaid Expansion?

What will happen to the over 316,000 North Dakotans with pre-existing conditions?

What will Congressman Armstrong and Senators Cramer and Hoeven do to protect those who would be impacted by the ACA being overturned?

“Congressman Armstrong and Senators Cramer and Hoeven promised North Dakotans that they would protect coverage for pre-existing conditions, while at the same time cheering for a Texas lawsuit that would rip them away for over 316,000 North Dakotans with pre-existing conditions,” said Alison Jones, Communications Director for the North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party. “With the Administration’s reckless lawsuit risking coverage for pre-existing conditions and Medicaid Expansion, Armstrong, Cramer, and Hoeven owe North Dakotans who could instantaneously lose their health insurance an answer to what they will do if the lawsuit they’ve long supported is successful.”
