Blanche not worthy of being confirmed, says Dem-NPL AG Candidate Tim Lamb

GRAND FORKS – The Trump-Vance Administration’s appointee for U.S. Attorney General Todd Blanche faced a tense confirmation hearing yesterday. Blanche has served as Trump’s personal attorney and has received bipartisan criticism for his handling of the Epstein Files.

Tim Lamb, Dem-NPL endorsed candidate for North Dakota Attorney General said, “Todd Blanche is proving he is not worthy of being confirmed by the Senate Judiciary Committee due to his handling of the Epstein files and other patently unconventional ways he is handling the U.S. Attorney General’s Office. He simply wants to continue to be President Trump’s personal attorney instead of honoring the integrity of the independent office of the Attorney General. His confirmation hearing speaks for itself.”

More Information on Todd Blanche

Blanche met with long-time Epstein accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell last year about her involvement with Epstein, and shortly after their meeting, Maxwell was moved to a cushier minimum-security prison.

Republicans have criticized Blanche’s handling of the Epstein Files and his failure to comply with the law requiring the DOJ to release all of the files — including the 2.5 million files that remain hidden from the public.

Blanche has used the DOJ to go after Trump’s perceived political enemies

Blanche has protected Trump, his family, and his allies, including by covertly signing an agreement to prevent the IRS from auditing the Trump family and their businesses, and he was also instrumental in orchestrating Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund which would have given payouts to January 6th rioters.
