Between this reckless trade war and cuts to health care, costs are spiraling out of control. Rather than rein them in, Trump’s focus remains on enriching billionaires, building gilded ballrooms, and waging an unpopular war in Iran that’s spiking prices even higher.

What working families are facing isn’t just a pinch at the pump—it’s a punch in the gut. North Dakotans have already paid $138 million in tariffs, while working families have paid $657 in higher costs due to Trump’s inflation. Thanks to Trump’s illegal and deadly war with Iran, ND gas prices are averaging $3.62 a gallon–up from $2.72 the day before Operation “Epic” Fury.

The Big, Ugly Bill gave out-of-state billionaires a massive extended tax handout paid for on the backs of working North Dakotans. Ultimately, it raised taxes on the poorest 40% of Americans, and Julie Fedorchak, Kevin Cramer, and John Hoeven all voted for it.

The North Dakota Democratic-NPL is launching a new grassroots program called “Neighbor to Neighbor” where volunteers will connect with voters in your community to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for connecting with voters in 25 homes in your neighborhood or friends and family to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot about 3-4 times this year.
