Overall Description:

The 2018 North Dakota Coordinated Campaign (NDCC) is seeking a Campus Organizing Director. The Campus Organizing Director will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing a team of Campus Organizers across the state to ensure that we engage, educate and turnout student voters.

Responsibilities:

  • Hiring, training, and coaching a team of Campus Organizers
  • Manage Campus Organizers to reach specific goals that fit into the NDCC’s statewide field plan
  • Identify and communicate campus needs up the chain of command to statewide Organizing Leadership
  • Develop multi-phase Campus Organizing Plans for organizer and volunteer development in assigned campuses

Requirements:

  • Passionate about electing Democrats
  • Skilled in team-based organizing
  • Train-the-trainer mentality
  • Comfortable with managing from metrics and has an understanding of field data
  • Familiarity with campaign technology platforms including VAN
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of personal accountability and ability to work in self-directed manner
  • Able to drive self to meet deadlines, take ownership over and excel at projects

Pay:

Salary commensurate with experience

Overall Description:

The 2018 North Dakota Coordinated Campaign (NDCC) is now accepting applications for Field Organizers. This position will work for on behalf of the Dem-NPL Senate, Congressional, statewide and legislative candidates. Field Organizers (FOs) are the face of the 2018 NDCC in communities across the state, work to educate about voter ID laws, motivate undecided voters to support our candidates, and increase turnout amongst low propensity voters. FOs will work with the Regional Field Director to craft and execute a plan to engage, organize, and mobilize voters in their assigned region.

Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, manage, and train volunteers in their communities and neighborhoods
  • Persuade and motivate voters
  • Developing a plan to organize their turf based on its unique characteristics
  • Identify and cultivate volunteer team leaders
  • Build relationships with community leaders
  • Ensure data integrity
  • FOs are also expected to work closely with legislative candidates to execute an effective field plan in targeted legislative districts throughout the state.

This position will work for on behalf of the Dem-NPL Senate, Congressional, statewide and legislative candidates. Native Vote Organizers (NVOs) are the face of the 2018 NDCC in tribal communities across the state, work to educate Native Americans on voter ID laws, motivate Native American voters to support our candidates, and increase turnout in the Native American community. NVOs will work with the Coordinated Campaign Director to craft and execute a plan to engage, organize, and mobilize Native American voters.

Responsibilities:

The Native American Vote Organizers will:

  • Create and implement a plan to engage, organize, and mobilize Native American voters and ultimately ensure they vote in the 2018 election;
  • Develop and implement early voting programs;
  • Conduct basic voter contact;
  • Recruit, retain, and develop volunteer leaders;
  • Ensure data integrity in the Native American Vote program;
  • Execute and evaluate events;
  • Plan and crowd build for informational events for Native American voters.

Overall Description:

The 2018 North Dakota Coordinated Campaign (NDCC) is seeking a Data Intern. Data Interns will report directly to the Data Director and will work directly on all aspects of the data and analytics department and help provide additional support for an ambitious and cutting edge statewide field campaign.

Responsibilities:

  • Support local party organizations in using data and database applications effectively
  • Database management – working in Microsoft Excel and Votebuilder to ensure high quality and accuracy of data.
  • Data analysis projects to help build organizing plans for campaigns all over the state
  • Support the Data Director in testing, launching and maintaining cutting-edge campaign technology

Requirements:

  • Passionate about electing Democrats
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • High level of personal accountability and ability to work in self-directed manner
  • Able to drive self to meet deadlines, take ownership over and excel at projects
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, and creative.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus
  • Knowledge of Votebuilder preferred, but not required
  • Able to work 20-24 hours per week

Pay:  

$1,500 per month
