Meanwhile, moms are getting ready to lose health care and kids will have less food in the fridge. What a disgrace.
Not only will I lose my subsidies that help me afford healthcare there won't be a hospital close if something does go wrong because I live in rural ND. Our local (15 miles away) hospital depends on medicaid and medicare patients and will go belly up because of this bill.
Medicaid spending is one of them, keeping health care available to rural patients while also supporting the local industries that supply that care. If that spending dries up, so may a lot of good jobs in places where they‘re hard to come by.

The spending cuts could force many rural hospitals to close. That wouldn’t just be a crisis for rural health care but for rural employment too.
