You know what’s frustrating? Julie Fedorchak is using YOUR tax dollars to try to save face while she’s failing to do her job. Fedorchak’s not facing her constituents, she’s not working across the aisle to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits, and she’s failing our farmers and ranchers.

Imagine if everybody in Minot had their health care costs skyrocket or they lost coverage completely. That’s what we’re facing right now if Congress doesn’t act.

That’s what this shutdown fight is about. It’s about lowering your health care costs. Democrats are simply asking for Congressional Republicans to extend the Affordable Care Act tax credits and cancel the Medicaid cuts that put our rural hospitals at risk.

In her commercial that YOU paid for, Fedorchak says, “it’s hard to understand” why Democrats keep voting no. Does she think North Dakotans are stupid?

Open enrollment starts in 3 days! Congressional Republicans have had months to work with Democrats to fund the government. Millions of Americans will see their health care costs skyrocket. Democrats are fighting to fix this, but Congressional Republicans still refuse to come to the negotiating table.

Fedorchak also sent out an email from her official account regurgitating the lie that this has something to do with immigration. US law already bars immigrants here illegally from receiving the health care benefits Democrats want to restore for Americans. Does Fedorchak think that when your grandma goes to the emergency room for a stroke, she should have to present her passport or be refused care? Medicaid funding doesn’t go to individuals; it keeps our hospitals from going broke.

Fedorchak thinks she can just say the words ‘illegal immigrants’ and you’ll forget that your costs have gone up exponentially since she took office, that she’s letting the president send $40 billion to Argentina, or that she’s blocking a vote on the Epstein files.

As a volunteer, you will be responsible for connecting with voters in 25 homes in your neighborhood or friends and family to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot about 3-4 times this year.
