NO KINGS!
In America, we don’t put up with would-be kings.
|
Our peaceful movement is only getting bigger and stronger. “NO KINGS” is more than just a slogan—it’s the foundation our nation was built upon. Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
|
|
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.

North Dakotans face steep rise in health insurance without federal tax credits, commissioner warns
North Dakota Insurance Commissioner Jon Godfread is sounding the alarm on the significant increase to health insurance facing tens of thousands of North Dakotans if the federal government doesn’t renew tax credits by the end of the year.
|
Unless the federal government takes action, premiums may rise between $378 and $3,735 in 2026, depending on a person’s income level, according to Kaiser Family Foundation data cited by the Insurance and Securities Department.

Letter: The myth of local control in North Dakota
The same lawmakers who decry federal overreach under the 10th Amendment often have no hesitation in stripping authority from their own communities. When Bismarck dictates land use or school policy for every township and district, it silences the farmers, school boards, community leaders, and county commissioners who embody true local control. Until that trust is restored, “local control” will remain exactly what it has become: a myth.

Letter: Raise your voice before they raise your rates (again)
No North Dakotan should have to choose between paying their utility bills and putting food on the table or refilling their prescription medications. However, when utility companies seek to raise their rates annually and the North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC) permits it, then choices like these become reality.

Scoop: DNC ramps up crackdown on alleged "scam PACs"
Why it matters: It's part of the DNC's larger campaign to root out PACs and super PACs that raise money in the name of the Democratic Party, but often don't invest a lot of their money in Democratic candidates.
|
Driving the news: The DNC sent the letter to the "National Democrats," a super PAC that has raised over $500,000 from last year through the end of June — mostly from small, grassroots donations — and spent less than $10,000 on just one candidate.

Trump Keeps the Government Shut Down to Skip Town and Throw a $1 Million-Per-Plate Mar-a-Lago Candlelight Dinner
“At this point, the Trump administration’s corruption is on full display. Donald Trump is hosting million-dollar dinners in gold-plated ballrooms while the government remains shut down and a health care crisis looms. It’s no wonder most Americans blame Trump and Republicans for this government shutdown: They are skipping town and throwing million-dollar fundraisers to fill their campaign coffers. Trump’s brazen carelessness and corruption are an offense to the millions of working families who are already bearing the brunt of rising costs and disappearing jobs, and are now bracing themselves for skyrocketing health care premiums if Republicans get their way.”

Trump’s Secret Police Shot a Citizen. Then Damning New Info Emerged.
Yet let’s be clear: We may never know the full answers to those questions about how DHS is handling accountability for its agents at this fraught moment. Because Republicans won’t ask them. And while the criminal justice process might prove illuminating on this incident, DHS may never correct its falsehoods about it or divulge anything to Congress shedding light on what really happened. Because Republicans won’t demand it.

The Real Fight in this Shutdown
So, yes. The fight for the affordability of health insurance is vital. Whether you are paying for your EPI-Pen because you want to sit in the bleachers and watch your kid play in a softball tournament without fear of a bee sting sending you into anaphylaxis, or you were recently diagnosed with cancer and have months of chemotherapy, radiation, and doctor visits ahead to keep watching those softball games, your health insurance coverage offers the best chance for successful outcomes. It’s not a Democrat or Republican issue. It’s a human issue.

‘I love Hitler’: Leaked messages expose Young Republicans’ racist chat
The private rhetoric isn’t happening in a vacuum. It comes amid a widespread coarsening of the broader political discourse and as incendiary and racially offensive tropes from the right become increasingly common in public debate. Last month, Trump posted an artificial intelligence-generated video that showed House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries in a sombrero beside Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, whose fabricated remarks were about trading free health care for immigrant votes — a false, long-running GOP trope. The sombrero meme has been widely used to mock Democrats as the government shutdown wears on.
|
In his 2024 campaign, Trump spread false reports of Haitian migrants eating pets and, at one of his rallies, welcomed comedian Tony Hinchcliffe, who called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage” and joked about Black people “carving watermelons” on Halloween.

Day 17 of Trump’s Shutdown: Trump, the Self-Described “Master Dealmaker,” Can’t Make a Deal on His Own Shutdown
“We are 17 days into Donald Trump’s government shutdown, and Trump seems content hosting his rich friends and wealthy donors for a lavish fundraiser for his gold-plated ballroom. Americans blame Trump and the Republicans for shutting down the government and allowing health care premiums to spike for 22 million Americans. Between his chaotic policies, failure to bring down rising prices, and now his government shutdown, Trump’s favorability has taken a substantial hit. With Republicans in control of the White House and Congress, why can’t they make a deal? We’re saying what everybody is thinking: The dealmaker-in-chief has lost his touch.”
