While Julie Fedorchak's at a fancy fundraiser in Minnesota, Trygve Hammer will be answering your questions face-to-face in Minot
North Dakota has one sole member in the U.S. House of Representatives—Julie Fedorchak. Congress typically is in recess for the month of August so members can return to their districts to meet with local leaders, go to ribbon cuttings and groundbreaking ceremonies, and hold town halls to hear their constituents' concerns. This year House Republicans left early to avoid a vote to release the Epstein files.
Fedorchak has emphatically said she WILL NOT have an in-person town hall. Instead, she’s starting her August Recess with a fundraiser at a Minnesota lake home. The hosts include Doug Burgum and John Hoeven. So she will meet with some voters—provided they donate to her campaign. Tickets range from $250 to $3500 for the “Rough Riders” tier.
But you don’t have to pay a dime to come to our People’s Town Hall next week with Trygve Hammer!
WHEN: Thursday, July 31, 2025, 7:00 PM WHERE: Carnegie Center, 105 2nd Ave SE, Minot, ND 58701
When announcing this town hall, Trygve said, “I have been critical of North Dakota's Federal delegation and of Congresswoman Fedorchak in particular for not holding in-person town hall events. Fedorchak has said that her telephone town halls are "safe" and "effective," as if a town hall event were some unpleasant medicine or a tough pill to swallow. I am ready to be more than a critic, I am willing to interact with North Dakotans who disagree with me, and I am able to do so without fear or any feeling of bitter medicine being shoved down my throat.”

Getting our message out isn't cheap, we're not asking for Fedorchak prices, but if you've got $15, $25, $40 to spare, we would be incredibly grateful for your generosity!

Help us elect great Democrats up and down the ballot!

The North Dakota Democratic-NPL is launching a new grassroots program called “Neighbor to Neighbor” where volunteers will connect with voters in your community to elect Democrats up and down the ballot. As a volunteer, you will be responsible for connecting with voters in 25 homes in your neighborhood or friends and family to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot about 3-4 times this year.
